UPDATE 3/18/20: POETRY JAM GOES VIRTUAL
Join us LIVE from Kirks’ Grocery at 7PM for a twist on Poetry Jam. Due to the current pandemic outbreak of COVID-19, Kirks’ Grocery is currently open by appointment only and will be closed during Poetry Jam to ensure the safety and health of our valued patrons and poets.
We will miss all our friends and poets who have made Poetry Jam the connecting event that it has become, but the poems must go on. Starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, host Anna Paige will be joined by Wes Urbaniak for a special Jam featuring your poems. Participants may email poems in advance to anna@penandpaige.com or just drop us a poem in the event, DM us, Tweet that poem out … we will read and share everyone’s work in a special live streaming event.
For our health as well, during the stream, we will maintain safe social distance and have our disinfectants handy. Share your poems, not the coronavirus!
