Word / Sound / Image Performance Evening with Dolly Vinyl, Kate Huston, Marla Goodman

Join Bozeman artists Marla Goodman and Kate Huston and Cowgirl Thereminist Dolly Vinyl for an evening of projected images, performance and music.

Marla will perform live Theremin with images, stories and relics from of the Museum of Loved Objects @museumoflovedobjects with original object-specific backing tracks contributed by Hannah Belle Terrell, Winter Zero, Cody Henderson, Michael Garverick, Jim Huie Jeanne Kennedy, Mike Parsons, Joe Schwem, Nathan Post and Guillaume Subra.

Kate will show images from her haunting documentary photo project, Abandoned Spaces, in a first-ever musical collaboration with Goodman. Along with music and projections of Kate’s stirring, immersive vignettes of places lost in time will be readings from found and archival writings.

Dolly Vinyl will bring her Haunted Phonograph for a 20-minute performance that includes found recordings, storytelling, a touch of choreography and Dinty Moore stew.
