Kirks’ is proud to display the monumental landscape paintings and glass etched work by Terry Karson. Beloved Montana curator, artist, and friend.

Mary Serbe:
Born by the ocean in New Jersey. BFA from Manhattanville College in Purchase. Butte. Missoula. Los Angeles. Maine. Near NYC. MAT from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Austin. Chicago. Billings. Exhibitions in Missoula, Southern California, Jersey City, NYC, Chicago, and Billings. Education Director of the Yellowstone Art Museum.

Terry Karson:
“Art is a funny thing. You do it with a purpose, but often the meaning remains a mystery.” Esteemed Montana artist, Terry Karson was born in Kansas City to James Calvert Karson and Evelyne Moore Karson on April 24, 1950. Karson, age 66, died of cancer at his home in Ennis, Montana, on January 27, 2017
